A handful of genuine 10/10's, maybe a few 9's- but then the entire rest of the dex are 4 or below

I very rarely ever think this about even the dumbest looking Pokemon but Druddigon has always and continues to look like it was designed by a five year old equipped with a box of crayons. The colors, the body shape, covered in spikes. It's a mess. I thought this the first time I ever laid eyes on it back in 2010 and my opinion hasn't changed at all.

It just lacks definition to me, I don't know. The way the head is just totally red in contrast with the rest of its body, the way the wings are just there instead of being proper wings. I get the gargoyle comparisons but it's not a gargoyle. If it were Dragon/Rock and a proper gargoyle I wouldn't be nearly as harsh on it.

It's like everything I hate in Pokemon design rolled up into one. It's not my least favorite Pokemon of all time because I still think Gen VIII had some really fucking atrocious designs but it's definitely my least favorite from Gen IX

Just think about it: they scrapped a Godzillamon, a sharkmon and Raichu's evolution for the final games, yet let this fat negresse in. Backlash 100% deserved just for that.

It would look a lot better with a more desaturated color palette. Most of the evolution line is fine but impidimp looks like an ugly neopets reject.
The bright fuchsia with red and purple, his shiny bowling ball head with those weirdly attached nose and ears. Was some colorblind trying to draw sableye from memory?
