Azumarill still gets chunked massively and risks getting flinched haxx'd which is almost an insta-loss. Unless you're running Covert Cloak, in which case you're getting your shit pushed in by chip from all of those neutral hits anyways while also cutting your HP in half because no Sitrus.

Have one Azumarill with Rain Dance and Chilling Water. Spamming the latter along with rain on the first turn will absolutely annihilate his damage output.

Adding to this, an Espathra with Lumina Crash and a Slowbro with Nasty Plot and Stored Power will make sure he dies, you can basically OHKO him if you setup properly, all while taking no damage cause of Rain plus Chilling Water.

Yep, just solo'd him with my Armarouge with Iron Defense, Calm Mind, Stored Power Spam fun raid. (Also helped that I had an NPC with an Intimidate mon kek)

Seconding this, just used this set to solo it on my first try

Armarouge @ Shell Bell
Ability: Flash Fire
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
- Stored Power
- Iron Defense
- Calm Mind
- Clear Smog

Just spam iron defense, then calm mind until you're about to faint, stored power with shell bell should take you back to full. Clear smog for when the bunny bulks up too much. Just have to dodge crits but should be relatively consistent

Calm, though Modest or even Bold would probably be better, depending on whether you want more Special Attack or Defense.

Leftovers, though I'm sure there were better options.
If you want to solo it like I did, good AI partners are also important. I ended up with Clodsire, Corviknight, and Sylveon, though there might be better partners, such as Tauros.

Finally got lucky with randos after 2 hours.
The team is Slowbro/Gyarados/Azumarill/Espartha
Gyarados came in with intimidate, which helped our team to stay alive.

Thank you for this, I already had a leveled up Amarouge so I just needed to fix his EVs and was able to solo. The NPCs were Archanine, Sylveon, and that horse that evolves from a donkey. They all kept dying but the timer didn't drop nearly as much when it's a human player.

I did the armarouge set, a little gimmick but if the bunny don't reset your stats you are able to kill it fast enough. I will try with the internet retards later just for the rewards. I know I will see thousands of azumarills...

Does it really help? Chilling Water is a special move afaik and you'd need 252 Special Attack EVs to make actual damage on the bunny. Wouldn't the timer be faster than draining his HP?

I solo'd all my zards with the blue bunny.
It works alright, but there are just better and more reliable alternatives.
It was still a good support mon though. It also works quite well as a solo mon for six stars
