At least Paldea felt like a brand new, open region unlike West Kanto. Most of the new Pokemon are better as well.

As a fellow HGSS enthusiast i think SV is the best game since bw2
it has noticeable flaws yeah but under all those is a really solid game
the just need to stop it with the stupid 3 year cycle, no sane studio thinks developing a full AAA open world game in only 3 years is ok

with x10 the devs spend at least 4-5 years on their open world games
