Design is pretty cool, very KR without just being a blatant copy and still feeling like an actual creature. Body is maybe a bit too first time in blender. Surprisingly not god awful, actually quite useful for the single player. I just, don't really love it though. Doesn't do anything wrong but could've been more.

I think it's really cool and I've been waiting a long time foe a Bug/Dark combination. Neat that it is actually useful as well and not a shitmon. My only gripe is that they should have made several variants of it so that you could build an entire ranger squad.

its just kind of boring. it's a reference to something but doesnt really stand on it's own, the first bug/dark type should've been a typically evil bug like a parasite or a hornet

This, we could of gotten our first parasite bug mon or even Paldean Beedrill. How they came to the idea that ppl would want a grasshopper to evolve in an obscure Japanese show reference outside of Japan is beyond me.

The fuck? They took earthworms and made fucking Orthworm so I'm sure its not hard, hell you can take the design of Elektross and modify to be more tapeworm like. Boom done, tapeworm mon that's Bug/Water type with the ability Vampire Bite/Suck Dry. Vampire Bite powers up all bite moves and adds the effect of draining health while Suck Dry lets you drain HP everytime a mon makes physical contact. Easy.

Concept is fine, typing is fine, but it looks like a plastic toy (like half the paldea dex). Why's the belt painted on and not modeled? Why is it's mask just an oval with 3 triangles? What even is its body shape? Fanartists all have to change how it looks to mske it look cool or threatening when it should hsve been that way to begin with. Gamefreak laziness strikes again I guess.
