Even if it’s good in game, the design is not only “literally my mom’s bird” but a Swellow recolor that gets rid of most of what I liked about frigate birds (heart-shaped throat sac, cute beady bird eyes as juxtaposition to huge proportions, interesting silhouette)
It also somehow manages this hodge-podge of downgrades by simultaneously looking bland as fuck, with a weird V pattern down its neck and wings in a way that looks like no consideration was given to shape or structure (why is the wing part so fucking flat that it matches up with the rest of the v near-perfectly?) and I really, really don’t like the awkward “pants” underneath of an ever-so-slightly different shade of color
It doesn’t even build on Wattrel much; instead of looking like some crazy nutter that will scream in your ear and peck your clothes like it did, it’s just boring as fuck
tl;dr decent in-game performance and good typing can’t save it from looking like a fucking trainwreck that threw away everything good about both frigatebirds *and* its prevolution in favor of looking boring and incredibly similar to Swellow (which, might I add, is also fucking boring)
