Riding Pokémon should be implemented going forward with the open world setting.
National dex should be in every fucking game when their slogan in the west involves catching them all. It's inexcusable for the biggest franchise in the world to not be able to shit out mainline games that include all of the Pokémon. They don't need to be obtainable, but just let players bring their Pokémon over from previous games so they can see them on current engines and have dex entries for them. How fucking hard is that?
PSS was great but how would they fit it in one screen.
Contests are good but not necessary.
Battle frontiers absolutely.
World tournaments should be in every other game, and should be included in the next game given how long it's been since B2W2.
Ball seals, secret bases,and more customization options should also be regulars.
Mythical events and mystery gift events in general should be brought back. There's no fucking reason for them not to make simple events to get them other than laziness.
