It's really shittily made but if you enjoy DP then there's nothing really all that wrong with it now that it's patched. The forced amie stuff is really unfortunate but the opponent's can have really good teams. The third version of the Pokemon League is the strongest elite four in the entire series with the best movesets, but again, it's kind of unavoidable that a bunch of amie buffs will bail you out over and over.

It's only "based" to you don't like Sinnoh and are glad it lost its only chance of having good remakes. Even something like ORAS with all its flaws would have done it for me, but noooo we had to get this lazy unfinished glorified port with barely anything new and the few it has implemented like shit. And we're never ever getting a proper Sinnoh remake because that's technically "already been done". Seriously fuck this shit.

DP are better balanced, actually have you own team use TMs instead of random mons you don't own, and don't have any unfinished or badly implemented features.

I can't deny that is weird to use poketch to brainwash wild bidoof to be actually HM slaves but everything else is just like diamond and pearl. The underground is also interesting now. Yes it sucks that the GTS is now on the home app but all other games are now missing it anyway.

Underground was always interesting, what they did with it was good but the way levels work is retarded and makes it clear they didn't give a shit and just went "oh yeah wildMonLevel = playerLevel lol", they could have tried to balance it to make it look actually alive with realistic levels but no, enjoy your level 85 Rattata.

Fuck off, that's one of the few things they genuinely improved over Gen 4. Fuck having to carry around an HM slave or two, or hobble your team's movesets, just so you can traverse through the map.
