Short term prequel?

Play as Steven or his childhood friend to explain how Team Rocket got exterminated from Hoenn.

Legends style game?

Jirachi reincarnated you into a Draconid tribe member and you have to stop rampaging dragon pokemon and invaders orchestrated by Deoxys.
Main Human villain is Giovanni who got sent to the past.
Excellent excuse for more dual Dragon typed pokemon and starter variants (finally balanced).

Sounds kinda like if Pokémon Channel had the ability to play other Pokémon games on it while you waited for stuff to happen in real time.
It KINDA already had this with the Pokémon Mini emulator, but time would freeze whenever you played on it.
