It's decent, but being introduced/available at the same time as Mabosstiff and Houndstone makes it pointless. They have basically the same movepools and similar stats, but both of the other 2 can actually attack.

I didn't have much trouble using it since it gets body press to utilize the defense. I even combo'd with its ability by using lava plume with my armarouge in a battle with my bro.
