>>52894411>>52894419Vintage sets are battle and time tested and have the benefit of growing up with millennials AND with zoomers (due to the prevalence of social media shills). Vintage cards, due to their age and due to how poorly they were kept, are scarce and will always be scarce. The price we see for vintage cards is likely close to their "true" price. This price and value will only rise (slowly) over time.
Modern cards, while beautiful, are experiencing a hype driven fomo and price spike that does not reflect their supply OR demand. Modern cards will go up in value eventually, but not until a correction happens. It will happen eventually. Maybe not tomorrow, but eventually. Evidence of this is just looking at the pop reports of psa10s. When those numbers are in the literal thousands for the chase cards, and TCGp now has 40+ listings of said card going unsold, it's a sign of bloat and that the price we see is not indicative of the "true" price/value of the card and there will be a collapse in the near future.
