Why did Pokemon Company decide to retcon this?????

This is my theory as well. They will simply reintroduce Ash-Greninja as Mega-Greninja (maybe with a few tweaks) and finally give us the Chesnaught and Delphox equivalentes, so no reason for Ash-Greninja itself to exist

Ash's adventure was meant to end in Kalos, you just can tell by the way everything was setting up with Serena, Greninja and the obvious win of the league that got stolen (like even if charizard could actually win after those hits the other guy should be disqualified for assisting the bad guys)
Kalos is the true ending of pokemon, everything went downhill
Sun and Moon was just a nice non canon story with tons of breedable lolis

Ash greninja was, is and will always be a retarded idea
With the usual Charizard shilling he still works within the limits of the gimmicks he's part of, like getting two mega evos instead of only one like the other mons besides mewtwo, and the only other normal pokemon that posses an alternative design is AZ's Floette, but that one is a mon revived with the life force of other pokemon so I don't think it having a different design is so out of the window.
But Greninjash? nah dude, we are just like, the best of friends, despite me having a shit ton of pokemon back home, and having Pikachu accompanying me all this time, this new frog is the dude with who I have the strongest bonds imaginable

Why do people post dumb shit like this? The OG anime had like 4 episodes where the theme was "Pokemon...but huge!", it's a very generic idea which is exactly why so many people shat on D-Max when it was announced.

Battle Bond would have to be included for all Starters and most friendship evolutions to make it reasonable.
It was a terrible idea. There are already mechanics that take into account the 'bond' you have with your monsters. No need to a shill ability like that.

Give a version of Return for every type.
