you're talking shit but it's how the game used to be for eight generations. pokemon let's go, legends, and s/v are the only ones with overworld shinies, save for a few like lake of rage gyrados.
legends had indicators to help alert you.
so either you're praising lets go, which had a limited selection of pokemon, or you're really hype about losing a feature from arceus in s/v.
