Especially when Ash has beaten legendaries beyond their level. To add, with his Z ring, he can do it with ease. Dawn and Lucas catching Arceus isn't that impressive when they have a master ball. Catching something isn't the same as beating.

game protagonist just have no good feats compared to Ash.
