Best thing out of this shitty anime ending is having Cynthia sit on the loser dusty couch with Diantha watching the real strongest trainers battle. Never appearing on our screens again after losing two of her Pokemon to Ash's single

I love how even fucking Ash is in disbelief he won. He had to quite literally give it his all and even THEN he’s STILL stunned he won. This didn’t happen with Leon he just swept through with confidence, but Cynthia? Even the characters in universe knew his win was a fucking fluke.

"Full power" Cynthia is still losing to "full power" Ash whatever that means. They both were restricted to a single gimmick and if Ash has all access to three then he still would crush her, even more so since he has three.

He didnt crush her in the show, the fight was extremely close (closer than the final, given that charizard got BTFO into oblivion, while Garchomp just stood back up a little later than Lucario)

And yes, Ash would win - it would just take him 4 gimmicks instead of the 3 it took for Leon

Even if your deluded mind believes Cynthia faced "aura gimmick" and it means she's stronger, all this proves is that Leon was able to quickly deal with it before it happened, unlike Cynthia.

Doesn't matter what you consider popular. Sinnoh shilling is done and Cynthia hasn't been in games outside her region since BW excluding that minor part in SM which they didn't bring her back for

no games=/= no appearances. Popularity didn't save her from having Leon be the most shilled.
