They should have at least made the ability able to affect those on electric/misty terrain and against grass types and electric types (for paralysis) like corrosion, make the decreased priority worth it, there's so little situations where the tradeoff is good.

Yes? Spore is balanced entirely by the fact that only slow mons get it.
But I do think Mycelium Might should've been a better trade off. Maybe let it also ignore type-based immunities with its status moves so it can put Grass-types to sleep.

I would have accepted the tradeoff if the ability let it use non-damaging moves on anything regardless of immunities. Then it could use Spore on Grass types.
