To recap:
- Pokemon in the party just sometimes gain this mark.
- Nobody knows exactly how to get it.
- Serebii (and thus a ton of sources parroting them) claims it's just a friendship threshold, but in testing there doesn't seem to be any real correlation. Pokemon with low friendship might get it, ones with high friendship don't always.
- It has nothing to do with raids.
- Twitter thinks it might be random and have something to do with time spent running.
- Nobody can agree if affection is still a mechanic and, if it is, how it affects this.
