Pretty much. You can also stack the effect of destiny knot and a power item. The power item effect comes after the destiny knot, so you'll always have that particular IV. However, the combo won't guarantee you'll get all six IV even with two perfect parents.

Have a parent with the nature you want hold an Everstone and have the parent with 0 IV hold the correct Power item
If the parent has other IVs you want to pass down you can gamble with a Destiny Knot but there's a 1/6 chance it won't pass the 0 IV stat on any given Egg

Nice of you to include those pics. This shiny Iron Valiant is in a Dream Ball and is "bigger than average". It is one of two that appeared on me during a hunt a few weeks back, it noticed it right behind me as I was about to catch it. I caught my other one in a Master Ball and it's the same height. This one is Impish, Impetuous and silly.

Cool a Jolly nature, nice. I sent the Valiant with the Booster it came with then. The Dream Ball really is a nice match on Iron Valiant as it looks like something you'd see in your dreams, being a robot knight from the future and combination of both Gardevoir and Gallade.

This is going to sound schizo but is there a limit on how many shinies you can encounter in a calendar day? I've been hunting the 7 paradoxes and I've found 6 (+1 additional Iron Bundle, 2 Raichu and a Talonflame) and Iron Treads is just not happening for me despite it being a 100% spawn.
Could there be a limit of 10 per day?

Running around for spawns and hatching were two different things, yeah. I did the level 2 egg power for getting eggs and would hatch a ton, then switch to running around with lv3 normal encounter and lv3 normal shiny

Do you guys HA patch the breeding stock right away, wait until you get the optimal / shiny pokemon and then Patch it, or patch a 5IV and breed that so that you'll have breedjects to give away?

I was thinking about it and it actually seems easier to not patch until the very end since there's that 40% chance you get fucked and breed the perfect, shiny mon but without HA.

Make a sandwitch with Pickles 1x and Salty Herba Mystica 2x then just run all around the cave the final research building is in. Everywhere there is no water, iron hands will exclusively spawn. Took about 28 minutes for me to find a shiny.
