but seeing it once adds its pic and entry to the pokedex, and oh wow it's made of gold coins and comes right after the little chest full of coins. Probably evolves from it. Huh, guess I keep fucking around with these little dudes cause I'm missing that one. Say, none of the TMs actually use the coins, I have like 600 by this point. that's weird. Can I feed them to it? No, okay well, I'll just keep it in my party and level it up for a while, see where that gets me.
Right?? There's nobody, NOBODY in the game that has a string cheese man. That's a cardinal fucking sin of pokemon game design. It's supposed to be that if you battle every trainer, talk to every NPC, read every book, and follow every lore sidequest, you end up with 100% seen, so that if there's any left you haven't caught, you get some clues about where they live, what they evolve from, or whether you'll have to trade for them.
This game not only doesn't do that with Goldenboy, it doesn't do it with the other raidon or paradoxes either.
