>>52905905>>52905998Part of what makes Clavell at least somewhat threatening is that a lot of his team options either have some setup or just wide coverage options. Yawn, Reflect, Aurora Veil, and Will-o-Wisp can all give him more openings, alongside Spore/Toxic Amoongus or his other mons which will just load up on coverage.
The eeveelutions can't pull off that amount of coverage to nearly the same degree, but it also feels like they don't even try. Flareon lacks Trailblaze even though that would help with all of its weaknesses and shore up speed, as though Fire Spin would do anything. Espeon would have been a better inclusion since it actually gets quite a bit of coverage along with high speed and special attack, but in order for that to work, the rest of the team would need to be set up better to spread around status or set up screens, rather than all of them just having Babydoll Eyes and Quick Attack.
