I will always remember trying to grind Eevee to evolve into umbreon in LeafGreen. Got to level 87 till I learned trading to Ruby was the game with the clock in it.

I loved the sevii islands when I first played through FR. It felt awesome to explore what to me at the time felt like a new region, an archipelago of Pokémon you couldn’t find anywhere else in the generation. Although to many it was underwhelming, the sevii islands felt like a good ending to me, one last adventure with my team of friends that I had a history with by that point. Plus, the themes from Gen II was a nice touch. I can’t help but get really nostalgic whenever I hear the four island theme play.

I agree. Yeah, they're pretty lackluster, but it's still a nice little epilogue to FRLG. I like to imagine that my character took over that Rocket Warehouse and turned it into a second home. Yes, I stole that idea from Chorocojo.

I love FR/LG but yeah i don't know how to feel about the Seviis, nothing interesting or memorable happens in these islands, its just filler. It is also frustrating that they use a lot of remixed Johto tracks, i feel robbed because they could have added Johto as postgame. I think the most stupid thing about these isles is the Ruby/Sapphire quest when you have to find a literal Ruby and Sapphire item to be able to use all the gen 3 Pokemon that aren't Azurill or Wynaut. The legendary beast puzzle was great tho.

I really like the Sevii Islands as it gives a different vibe as opposed to Kanto mainland. I was a bit gutted when it is not implemented in LGPE but its understandable since LPGE only features 151 Kanto Pokemon.

If we were to go back here in the future in another Kanto remakes (hypothetically), I feel that they could have expanded Team Rocket's influence here.

You need to talk to Celio in the Pokemon Center of Island 1 after beating the Elite 4, he will give you the Rainbow Pass to access the remaining islands. Birth Island and Navel Rock are event only so you need to use cheats or glitchs.

While they were for the most part small and without much going on, they were pretty comfy islands. I especially liked the island with the Unown Puzzle.

I hope they come back when GF remakes Gen 1 again (they will)

desu the remixed johto tracks were good and i thought there were some pretty memorable moments, the hypno kidnapping that kid, lorelei showing up, the beasts thing as you said. overall the comfy atmosphere made them worth it

On the contrary, they only used maybe 3 Johto tracks. They should have gone all out and used Johto trainer battle, wild battle, Dark Cave, surfing, and at least 1 or 2 more route themes.
