there is no moral problem in the games because pokemon let themselves be caught and only battle because they want to. you don't brainwash them, if a Raichu didn't want to battle it could just run away or zap you.

if a character wanted to take *all* kids away from their parents because he had seen *some* kids be abused, your natural response would be "I see where he's coming from, but he's still wrong." that's the response the story expects you to have towards N.
