Same. I know the fags here will drop the "oh how do you not remember?" shit, but like these towns and cities are so damn uninspired and forgettable the only one I even remembered was Mesagoza because I simply fly there so much.
I only remembered Grusha and Larry for gym leaders. Also Iono because she was annoying enough to burn her name into my head (gg though they really captured the annoying streamer personality)

Honestly most the town and city names in SV don't feel very memorable since their only importance is challenging the gym and moving on. That and they are a mouthful on the wording, though that could just be Gamefreak trying to be cultural or whatever.

I played in English so to me in my language the city names sound extremely thickly foreign and the spelling like it was generated from speech to text.
As for what's to do in each area I find it's about the same amount as past games, the real issue is that everything takes place outside so you no longer have landmarks to use as reference points (like "oh this is the building I go into to get a free item from the npc")
