>>52929785I have existing emotional investment in existing Pokemon, and there is enough of them, for a more complex and varied strategy jrpg experience than any we had up until now. I'd regret not having new Champion, Rival Gym boss etc. characters more, but TPC is guilty of underusing most of them barring maybe a few like Hikari or Cynthia. I'd love for old, abandoned mechanics to be revisited, for the existing challenges to be expanded upon, rather than remade with new Pokemon each time. I'd like it if we get an actual pokemon league, with a multitude of ranks of competing trainers, instead of a sprinkle of Gyms that we have now.
I'd like it if a pokemon journey actually felt like a full fledged and hard-earned Journey again, instead of a Sunday-shopping trip.
