They can't just have another Pikachu. It won't have the same dynamic or be outside it's ball at all times. I think the Pawmot line was made to fill the role of something similar except being able to evolve without losing marketing power. But really Pikachu is so pivotal to the brand and anime and the SV humans are all ugly cunts so it's gonna flop

Every Pokémon from the same species has the same personality aside from minimal variation. The new Pikachu will probably not love ketchup or strikes huge Thunderbolt like the Ash's one but in the long run you will not see any difference
