Meanwhile in the real games, you have time to see the whole thing in action, see its moveset, and develop a literally wider group of thoughts than you could for a concept?
Like why do you think the fucking lizard dogs catch so many people's attention? They're fleshed out with something to either love or hate compared to what might be just a picture, model render, or 30 second video clip. It's so much harder to get attached to something and grow to like it if you don't have a lot to latch onto to begin with.
