It genuinely feels like they gave up and just decided to make everyone a fat ugly middle 45 year old academy student instead of coming up with trainer classes. They fact that they didn’t even commit to the bit, and all the people around the academy look school age convinces me that this was due to gamefreak being lazy.

I did enjoy the fat student with 2 oinkologne though, wish I saved a cap of that.
