Dark type moves

What the fuck is up with Gamefreak? So many of them have weak bp and/or poor distributed. The strongest non signature one is Foul Play with 95. The strongest one is Hyperspace Fury with a 100bp. Aura Wheel would count with it having a 110bp, but it always start as an electric type move and needs Hangry mode to be dark. How do we fix this?

they're surely aware of this issue because they keep on inventing new signatures to give to their electric type pokemon, while also failing to actually give said moves to anything

dark has a lot of weaker moves, but a sizable chunk of them have some good utility to justify the power cut. the same cannot be said about wild charge, especially considering there aren't any electric types that get abilities like reckless or rock head

So it was really that easy to turn an A tier type into C tier at best in the official format

Every dark pokémon has access to either crunch, throat chop or knock off. They're more than fine since dark is a decently offensive type.
Meanwhile look at physical rock types, they have to either rely on Rock Slide, a 75BP 90% acc move, or Stone Miss.
I hate Rock Slide, it's broken and garbage at the same time, broken because of the double targeting flinch chance, garbage because it's never enough for KOs and can miss, so it's bound to backstab you at the worst times.

I never understood rock moves. the high miss chance I have coped with, what bothers me is that most of them are rocks or boulders being thrown or dropped on the enemy, which I would suppose would hurt a lot, but despite that they have such low BP.

Maybe if Rock Moves in General had better Base Power to compensate the miss chance than other similar moves.

I don't think so. Dark has moves like Sucker Punch, which forces you to play mind-game with them.
