I don't know why people talk about their ages, outside of arceus where they go 'eh, you look about 15" there's never been an in-game reference to the character's ages.
So it's just a bunch of "I heard they're 10" when the original games came out and no one thought that might have changed at any point. And to use the arceus point again, those versions of dawn/lucas look exactly the same as the dppt version of the characters, so shouldn't we assume those characters are also about 15?
