>these cards have too much going onYes, that's for sure. The Tera (Terastallizing or whatever they call the new gimmick) exs, like the leaked Arcanine, are only going to be more over the top IMO. I like how the Pokémon look like they're made out of Swarovski crystal, but those hats... they are really too, too much.

>That's why sets like Evolutions and Shining Legends feel more special to me honestlyBased, Shining Legends was and still is a really cool set, I loved the Shining cards (and promos), but unfortunately they didn't look much like the original ones, that old Shining holofoil is just astonishing. I liked Evolutions when it just came out, but in retrospect, they really fucked up the card lay-out. The holofoil was amazing though.
