What's your favourite spaceworld demo backsprite? Always felt like a strange look into another world in which Gen1 had decent backsprites

Clefairy because I like Clefairy in general and it actually looks drawn really well (some of these backsprites are still kinda shitty/too influenced the worst RGB ones) and Jynx because I like the hearts.

Spaceworld was a video games event that took place in 1997. There was a very early unfinished beta version of gold/silver that people could play. A few years back a rom version of the spaceworld gold/silver demo leaked onto the internet

Gastly's might be my favourite.

Pikachu's is really cute.

Bulbasaur line is worth mentioning just for how much of a improvent it is.

Some of them still had issues though, like Meowth and Slowpoke.

Has anyone made a romhack with these sprites and the gen 1 betas?
