It would have been in Gen 4, but Jynx being a nigger means that Game Freak has to give the line as little attention as possible. I wouldn't be surprised if the new dexcut trend means we don't see Jynx in another game for a good 5 years.

They're not a trio. They might've been in development back when Jynx was more Yeti-inspired and named Buu like the other two but that got changed

there was never a trilogy to begin with, people see fire/electric/ice and force it to be a trio just because the legendary birds did it. electabuzz/magmar were version exclusives, which is why they got -tricizers for evolution. her counterpart was Mr Mime in gen 1

That's cope. The truth is that Jynx is a unpopular pokemon due to being a literal woman and humanoids are uncanny valley for most fans. Gamefreak operates by popular demand first and some wildcards second. That's why Jynx hasn't got anything yet, but she will when they can't reuse every other Gen 1 pokemon for the new addition department.

Nah the whole Jinx thing took off when Gen 2 was already out in Japan. You gotta realize they got started with Pokemon in 96 while we got it 2 years later. So by the time Gen 1 was a outrage in our country, Japan was already done with Gen 1 and was working on the Johto mons. Hell I think Gold and Silver dropped in 99' over there no?

I like Blessynx, and Hijynx should be a Mega, not an evo.
I know Jynx is supposed to be a witch of the Japanese folklore, but making her a valkyr, and then go for a "sky/aurora" theme will make sense, since valkyrs are supposed to take fallen warriors to Heaven (Valhalla)
As for male versions, I pick the beta look >>52963403, but it has to look more dwarf/kintaro style.
