Source? I remember occasionally playing through my second game that wasn't patched while still playing my main game that was patched, and the performance difference was huge. There must be some other explanation for it because it definitely wasn't a placebo. Less lag when you finish the game or something?

I've stayed on v1.0.1 all this time just for the item duping.
I managed to complete my Pokédex and get the shiny charm and beast ball specifically so I could dupe them. Now I've got stuff like shiny Iron Valiant and all the future Paradox Pokémon in Beast Balls.

I don't have much awareness of v1.1 though. Is item duping still possible if I keep the cloned Miraidon?
Can I permanently lose the cloned Miraidon, and the means of duping items? Am I blocked from doing online activity whilst I keep the cloned Miraidon?

They're never going to fix the frame rate issues. I can see team 2 taking over for the DLC and re-instancing Area Zero completely to make it run smoother, but the OG overworld will never get fixed. Anything added will be separate zones from the overworld that they make sure don't run like dog shit.
