To get a legitimate battle ready Clefable I have to transfer one over all the way from FireRed just to teach it Softboiled from the Move Tutor, then I have to buy and use an Ability Capsule to give it Magic Guard.

Just mod a 2DS and inject its cheaper then all the games + a DS plus you can run backups of everything US/UM and older if you still want to.

Up to USUM actually, since in SwSh a transferred Pokémon needs to be given an "authorized" mark to use in competitive, which will also reset its moves
