I like Meowscarada, Baxcalibur, the megaman characters, and the evolutions of the older Pokemon. Everything else is either completely average or horseshit.

A few Pokemon with no reason to exist (Squawkabilly, Spidops) and a few cancerous Pokemon (Gholdengo, Flutter Mane, Dondozo) but otherwise pretty solid. Would have preferred the Paradox mons to have real names and abilities too I guess.

Every single other mons non related to previous gens is garbage.
But the pilachu clone line alone makes this gen's dex the absolute worse. Everything wrong with nu-mon with one line. A work of art really.

gen 1: well designed pokemon with bad stats
gen 3: brightly coloured slow frail mixed attackers
gen 5: ugly pokemon with minmaxed stats
gen 7: busted legendaries and "legendaries"

It's the most mediocre. Not necessarily middle of the road compared to other gens, towards the bottom for sure, but at least not outrageously bad as gen 6 and gen 8 dexes

Overall, the worst, I'd say. Its like someone took only the bottom-of-the-barrel, most unoriginal hundred or so Pokémon out from every generation and compiled them together to make the Galar dex. Not that they're all bad; some are passable or decent, but more like there's almost no originality or creativity left.

there's plenty of creativity and originality, it's just the EXECUTION of all of it is fucking atrocious
the Frigibax line is an okay concept but it comes out looking like a polished turd at best and an awful traffic cone only akin to the likes of Beartic and Duraludon before it at worst
