>>52979754Because it doesn't fit with the shill narrative that tries to paing GF as the mistreated underdog. It matters if you care about consistency(which shills evidently don't), but to go into detail:
-People bring up that GF doesn't get all the profits for the franchise because it works with Nintendo/TPC/Creatures. If you accept the involvement of Creatures then you have to accept that the games are not the product of GF but the entire package(AKA who people are criticizing) who DOES get the profits.
-Alongside money, people bring up that working in the models(and this is assuming they at least understand that there's where the bulk of the work is, which is not often) takes resources from other aspects of the game in a faux zero-sum game. Aside from that showing a lack of understanding about video game development; the admission that a company separate from GF works on the models means that despite its small staff, GF isn't losing resources because of it. That and the very fact that the work can be outsourced at all means also admitting it can be solved by more people/money, which these two points prove wrong.
Imo, I'm entirely open for good pro-cut arguments but the pro-cut side can't make a consistent point and stick to it, even after almost 3 years.
