There used to be this youtube series(or maybe a webcomic) around 2013-2015 that was in the style of FireRed/LeafGreen sprite artwork. The main character had spikey gray hair and his partner pokemon was a ninetales. They called all the pokemon by their japanese names despite being an english comic. I have been searching for forever trying to dig this thing back up with no luck. If you have any info regarding this, I would greatly appreciate it. I think it had silver in the title somewhere.
