this franchise has always been mediocre at best
the only reason it hasnt been dethroned yet is because its current competitors are incredibly fucking retarded
digimon: ugly artstyle, ugly designs, weird evolution concepts
yokai watch: good artstyle, bad designs, bad gameplay
now i only wait for roco kingdom and dokev, because desu, they both look fantastic and are yet far from release
both games have good artstyle, appealing monster designs
roco kingdom seems to have similar gameplay to pokemon, while dokev seems to be similar to yokai watch in terms of combat gameplay
i gave up on pokemon long ago, and i genuinely think this fanbase deserves these mediocre games
if you are still rooting for change or hoping for some miracle, you are just being delusional and naive
give up and move on
