No, dude. There's no agenda. The one you posted just looks awful in comparison. It looks almost like an AI made it. Do you want to talk about hands? Cynthia's nails look ready to break off. Her hair looks greasy and filthy. Weird surprise lines are hovering over her head, covered in an ugly green outline. Why are they even there? To convey surprise, of course, because the illustrator couldn't figure out another way to do it.
Do you want to talk about expressions? At least the "psycho eyes" in the first picture are truer to Cynthia's innate sense of playfulness, her ACTUAL personality. In the second picture, she looks like some autistic kuudere. You know, the type of kuudere that is ONLY a kuudere because they're autistic.
If you didn't like the hands on the first one, you could have just said that and left it at that; that would have been a critique. It would have been a demonstration of higher cognitive function. You could have gone a step further and said, "I don't like the eyes in that picture because they make Cynthia look like a psycho, and it reminds me of edgy interpretations of her character, which I dislike. Also, her hands are too big." And really impressed me, but instead, you called it bad and, as an alternative, suggested something even worse.
Don't call me a liar, dude. The first one really is gorgeous. You get a better shot of her face, the colors are more interesting, and at least she looks like she's bathed.
