UB and Paradox are their specific groups. That's like saying "don't call them sub-legendaries call them bird trio, beast trio, regitrio, eon duo, lake trio..."

Sub legendary Pokémon are still legendary….. and UBs are Pokémon but not all Pokémon are UBs so what sets them apart is being UBs. Pseudo legendaries are not an actual thing

That's not what I said, dumdum.
I'm asking what makes Koraidon and Miraidon different from the other Paradox Pokemon tha they get to be labeled "Legendary", when they don't have anything within the lore different that sets them apart.
You can't say base stat total because that isn't something that is accounted in lore. They have the same base stat total as other sub-legends like Sylvally, and only 10 base stat less than the rest of sub-legends with the exception of Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant, which have 10 base stat more than all sub-legends

Yeah, I saved the pics from that leak season (SM). Mythicals used to be mythical AND legendary. Now there are three groups that don't overlap in the slightest, legendaries, sublegendaries and mythicals.

Same. I guess the idea is that since Urshifu is the legendary of the "first part" of the DLC and Calyrex is the legendary of the second and last part, then he's naturally more important. He also gets a fusion with two other legendaries like Necrozma and Kyurem (althought he fuses with sub-legendaries, not with full, main legendaries like the others).
Anyway, it's very weird how every main legendary is either a box legend or at least part of the same group as one with the only exception of Mewtwo (from the gen before legendaries were in boxes) and then there's Calyrex showing up out of nowhere too.

I guess the reasoning is the BST. They didn't want to seperate base Calyrex from its forms, which have BSTs at the level of other box legends, so they put it in that group. Meanwhile Urshifu has a much lower BST, the same as Volcarona (and lower than Florges kek). It makes some sense since it evolves unlike most other legends, but it would have made sense to have Urshifu rep its DLC as if it was a box legend like Calyrex does
