So what is her evil master plan in the DLC going to be? She literally has you free 4 calamities unto Paldea in secret…. and to make it more on the nose that she is plotting something bad they give you the TM “Nasty Plot” as a reward for completing the quest.

she's going to steal the ruin mons to defeat Geeta. In the DLC, it will be up to you to choose between preserving Geeta's Championship or supporting Raifort as the true Champ.

I love Raifort, her autism is both charming and threatening.
I doubt they’ll expand on her in the DLC, but we can only hope. She definitely comes across as sketchy.

It will amount to nothing. Don't dwell deep too it. The DLC will be made with the assumption the players is still doing the treasure hunt, like how the dlc is with ShSw. They are nothing more than side stories.

You could do the majority of the quests, up until it required you to be Champion to battle and catch Calyrex. Unsure, or Imdon’t remember how they handle the Regiks. I know one is impossible without the Water Bike, for instance.

I'm now picturing a floating island that requires a fully powered 'raidon to traverse fully to prevent storyline breaks, but you can visit the earlier sections easily. Although the name Laputa is Spanish, it likely wouldn't be allowed for obvious reasons.

To get the legendary? Yeah. Considering there’s a sealed panel in Area Zero and we have two more paradox mons and a literal third legendary connected to the professor’s story, I can’t imagine at least part of the DLC not restricting content to the postgame.

The Galar DLC mons by contrast had zero relevance whatsoever to the main story, barring a very very vague connection between Calyrex (a mon you couldn’t capture until the postgame anyway) and Eternatus.

I'm picturing a scenario more like Sora no Kiseki. Raifort is actually a mind-controlling psychologist from a secret society hellbent on destroying the world for the sake of a hidden deity (eldritch, demiurge pokemon). She has been secretly manipulating various characters to do her bidding, from Nemona, Geeta, Clavell and MC.

She won’t be a villain because then they’d have to require that you finish all the classes, which are clearly meant to be an optional thing.
It’d be really dumb if you start doing the DLC then get a “to continue, go finish your History classes!” message.
