You actually the posted the one mainline pokemon game I've never bought OR played, and don't intend to. I'm lucky enough to still have my copy of platinum, and even if I want to use DP version exclusives I also still have my copy of diamond AND my sister's copy of pearl. As far as I can tell these are just the same thing again but with nugen bullshit like the broken exp share, broken friendship asspulls (That can't even be avoided anymore), and the like.

I did get SM because I was hyped up by the Ultra Beast lore. I also despise Megas because of the massive power creep they brought compared to Gen 5. I am very salty about mentions of Kalos.
