Does Lechonk/Oinkologne count? I know it comes right after the starters, but I view it more as a Wooloo/Dubwool situation, and I'm also more hesitant since Maushold exists

Also both Wooloo and Skwovet were both in the regional rodent group in the 1008 Pokémon video.
You could say the same for Oinkologne and Maushold.

I would call Oikologne the regional "rodent" in this case, while Maushold is the more recent niche of a stronger, slightly later mon like Litleo, Rockruff, and Wooloo.
