Heliopolis because Ho-Oh was based on phoenix and Herodotus attributed the origin of Phoenix as Egyptian god Bennu worshipped by people of Heliopolis. Also, Ho-Oh carries the Sun motif too.

This one is pretty hard. Its a forest spirit. And it time-travels too. Not many legends can be related to these two separate concepts. But I would suggest "Aokigahara". Because that forest is one of the most mysterious place in Japan, full of big trees, and people who wander into it often felt lost track of time.
