tree shrews are called flying lemurs so there's the shrew-lemur connection.
However, if it's intentionally called a mouse, this might be the connection that would make grafaiai being called a monkey make sense:
there's a species of lemur called a mouse lemur and an extinct one called a monkey lemur.
all I got. pokedex is kinda retarded but i definitely don't think shroodle is a mouse and I promise you grafaiai is based on a lemur and not a monkey
