I tried to do the Cinderace Raid..

I tried many times, but I cannot finish this stupid raid. I am a casual player and tried to follow the instructions. I have made Espathra for that - increased sp attack etc., but still nothing.
I haven't connected to the Internet after the event has finished yet, so I still can try... any ideas? I should have tried Slowbro instead I guess

Almost forgot, you need to have your slowbro hold a life orb. One of the delibird shops sells them but I forget which.

Just go with Slowbro. Catch one in the wild or something. Tera-type does not matter, since you won't need it anyway.
Mint to Modest Nature (Chansey Shop), 252 ev in Special Attack + Defense. 4ev in hp.
Level it up to lvl 100. Max out HP, Special attack, Defense with bottlecap if you can. It took me 2-3 hours to train this guy up, hopefully you won't have any problems.

When you start the raid battle, it's important for there to be at least 1 intimidate user on your side. It is essential for in order for your Slowbro to survive. Restart the battle if you don't have one.
Iron Defense Twice, Nasty Plot 3 times. Do a cheer command afterwards.
Once you're set up, proceed to use Stored power twice. First time to chip Cinderace down to critical hp. Hopefully KO. Second time to finish off Cinderace, if he's still alive. (Shield does not matter if he's low hp anyway.)

Oh yeah, don't forget the life orb lmao. I only use iron defense twice because I'm paranoid about the buff wipes when the timer hits 60%. Slowbro will survive with one intimidate user on your side anyway.

This is big, my Slowbro got wrecked without it, just back out and retry the solo raid til you get a teammate with intimidate
