Greetings.

I'm a Shin Megami Tenchad and I would like to know which Pokémon game is considered to be the hardest one. No ROM hacks, for I want the vanilla experience.

Define hard? With jank? Maybe Gen 2. Longest games would also be Gen 2 or their remakes. Maybe Gen 5 Hardmode but you need someone else to activate it unless you're using an emulator. Gen 3 is pretty fun too.

Stadium and Stadium 2 with only rentals. Best games with the main series battle system. Otherwise, stick to SMT because >>53015183.

pokemon ultra sun/moon but you have to turn off the EXP share when you get it
EXP share is the difficulty toggle in gens 6/7

Colosseum can be considered hard to some because of the limited mon pool but it really isn't and you're not going to find any on par with SMT that isn't optional content.

gen 4 is probably the hardest (bw2 difficulty is not as difficult as people claim it is, its hard mode just makes you overleveled) but really if you're a smtchad, all these games are piss easy.

vanilla pokemon isn't for you, go play a drayano hack or something if you want your big dick challenge.

Any game with a Battle Frontier is your only real challenge. XD was also pretty challenging because of forced double battles and a very limited party selection.
