It's not a competitive powerhouse or anything but I don't see much love going around for paldean tauros

I adore it but I don't go around vocalizing it all the time. I just recently MM'd Aqua Paldean Tauros to get the Shiny since I like the water buffalo take. It also has a cool custom swim animation with its tail becoming a propeller, so I use it for Let's Go when I'm in the water.

because normal Tauros is a classic Pokemon, didn't need any tweaking

Because it's just ok, it has ok stats, it looks ok, it has an ok movepool, but there is always something much better to do what it does that's way more interesting and with better moves

Tauros is a perfect mon to give different forms; its stat spread is fine and its problem has always been being a normal type with lackluster movepool

It's slightly faster than the others and with all of the cancerous ghosts running around it might have a niche use. I plan on giving it a try in a monotype team when it drops at least
