Megahorn was exclusive to Heracross, which was rare and weak to psychic.
That leaves Shadow Ball which is honestly a great move. Too bad it was a TM exclusive and only a few pokemon could learn it. It also did more harm than good for ghost types themselves because all of them had poor attack and paper thin defense.
