What's regional only about Annihilape or Dudunsparce? Both of them learn moves by level up like lots of cross gen evos. Kingambit is the only one you could potentially make a case for (maybe bisharp with leaders crests are exclusive to Paldea)

New moves: Knock Off, Fake Out

This gives it some much needed bulk, a new ability lets it guarantee that those hazards go up, and Knock Off and Fake Out give it some nice support tools for doubles. It is still quite slow, so outside of Trick Room it'll usually go last, and it doesn't have any reliable recovery, so it's still prone to getting worn down, but I think it's ultimately a usable evolution for a neat pokemon.

I think it’s because most people don’t care for them, at least not until they drop incenses altogether. (They did in SV, didn’t they?) Incenses are a shit mechanic anyway, babies should allow you to catch the Pokémon’s family earlier in the game but if they’re locked behind breeding that’s a bit odd.

Apart from Toxel, which I think is marked as a baby for lore reasons (and inflate popularity like they did for Riolu), they haven’t done any since the 7 in gen 4 respectively.

None of those sound good, but I just looked up other venomous snakes and probably the coolest related names I would personally use are the Krait, Taipan or Naja (which is the genus for cobras). Also I feel like Poison/Dark is a meme at this point. I would actually like to see this line become part Ghost. We still don't have another line that is Ghost/Poison, and I think that secondary typing would do just as much justice to Arbok while also setting it apart. Yes, it would have more weaknesses than if it were part Dark, but it would get two useful immunities and have access to good Ghost STAB. It would probably also get a really cool design
