I agree with the idea of this, but my problem is that all the mons resulting from it are fucking ugly. They look like complete dogshit. Especially their in-game models. High concept shit execution doesn't make for a good design.

Uninteresting yet convoluted colour scheme, ill-fitting proportions, awkward posture, and that "hollowness" of its "belly" created by its neck tail makes for a really unpleasant silhouette.
I guess I like its droopy facial expression, but other than that it is probably in the top five of ugliest Pokemon.

I don't think it is ugly in the sense that it is unappealing though. I think it's 'hollywood ugly'. It's absurd and goofy but still has good colors and fun interesting shapes. I really like it more than I ever liked Omastar or Armaldo.

Oh also, I just looked at the pokemon again and something hit me about the colours. I think they purposely used primary/secondary colours to evoke the feeling of a child playing with colours for the first time. Once again playing up the fact Cara Liss had no idea what she was doing and was a novice.

Of course, I'm just speaking out of my ass, but the palette has always seemed so.. ugly until now.
